Are you in Primary 7 or Secondary School student looking for the next step in your faith journey? Well, you’re in luck! This year, we’re kicking off a new programme to help our young people prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation or as a great way to refresh and rekindle the faith in those who have already been confirmed.

As a parish community, we’d like to invite young people to weekly meetings based on the programme CHOSEN – a modern and attractive study of our faith. Students will have the opportunity to form relationships with a small group of their peers while growing in faith and formation as they journey toward Confirmation or continue on their faith journey. CHOSEN is a comprehensive learning experience centred around video, discussion and prayer in a fun, interactive manner.

Important Information:
Our meetings will start on Monday 4th November and will take place every Monday at 17:30 in St Joseph’s Parish Hall with the Sacrament of Confirmation celebrated on Saturday 23rd May 2020.  The programme is open to students aged 11-17 from St Joseph’s and Holy Family parishes.  Each student needs either:

  • The Student Pack (£25) includes the three components designed to engage the student, sponsor, and parents in the Chosen experience. It contains one Student Workbook, one Sponsor’s Guide, and one Parent’s Guide. We strongly recommend it for those preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation
  • The Student Workbook (£15) is for those who have already been confirmed; however, for a full experience, the purchase of the “student pack” is advised so parents can accompany their teen on their journey of faith.
